A Montana-based custom software development firm is seeking a Lead / Senior Software Developer to join their fully remote team. This small, stable consultancy has been operating since the early 2000s and offers a flat organizational structure, long-term client relationships, and a strong track record of repeat business.

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:

If you are Senior Software Developer with deep experience in C# / .NET and aspirations to grow as a mentor / leader, this role might be for you. If hired, you’ll serve as a key technical partner to leadership, splitting time between hands-on development (25–50%, initially closer to 50%) and guiding teams across projects. You’ll across the companies client portfolio, not only as a hands down developer, but also in helping execute technical vision, helping unblock developers, and bringing structure to project execution.

REQUIREMENTS:

My client is looking for the following "The 6 C's")

• CODING | 10+ years experience as a developer (including 2-3 years of recent experience in .NET / C# / Microsoft based environments)
• CUSTOMER FACING | 2-3 years of experience in a externally facing / customer facing role via small consulting environment
• COMMUNICATION | 2-3 years of experience working with execs and other internal developers as a team lead: ability to communicate, delegate and support others
• CONTEXT SWITCHING | 2-3 years of experience working in company that requires an asynchronous work style: i.e. comfortability with regular context switching
• CURIOSITY | Intrinsic curiosity and proven experience not just as an "order taker" but instead showing potential for future leadership and ability to be come a "right hand person"
• CULTURE ADD | Someone who is proactive about supporting and growing the company and those around them

LOCATION:

NO this is not an on site role. This actually isn't even hybrid. This is a fully remote role with lots of their Engineers across the country. BUT, when we post a fully remote job we get OODLES of spam, so we rotate the jobs "location" try and find real people, not scammers and spam bots. Sorry not sorry. NOTE: This company has an HQ in Montana (Mountain Time Zone). As such, working hours MUST be aligned to Mountain Time due to client-facing needs. Candidates in other time zones (CST and PST) may be asked to adjust accordingly. We are not considering folks in EST at this time.

SALARY:

This is a direct-hire position with an expected base salary range of $110,000–$130,000 (with flexibility to discuss higher for an exceptional fit). Discretionary bonuses may be available and are determined based on company performance.
