They work extensively within regulated industries, particularly financial services, helping organisations modernise legacy estates, strengthen security postures, and implement secure cloud infrastructure and end-user computing solutions.

The Role

An immediate requirement exists for a Senior Consultant – AWS Cloud Infrastructure & EUC Specialist, available on either a permanent basis or outside IR35 contract.

This is a senior, client-facing consultancy role. Candidates must come from a consultancy background, with demonstrable experience delivering enterprise cloud programmes. Experience within financial services or other regulated environments is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of secure AWS infrastructure solutions, application delivery platforms, and identity integrations across complex, regulated estates. This role is focused on enterprise infrastructure transformation, end-user computing (EUC), and secure access architecture rather than container platform engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure AWS infrastructure solutions using Infrastructure as Code
• Lead Oracle workload migration and optimisation within AWS environments
• Architect and deliver application streaming and virtual desktop solutions using Citrix or Amazon AppStream
• Design and integrate Identity Provider (IDP) solutions across cloud platforms
• Implement secure access controls, federation, SSO, and MFA strategies
• Support large-scale migration and transformation programmes within regulated environments
• Engage directly with senior stakeholders, providing both strategic guidance and hands-on delivery

Required Skills & Experience

AWS Infrastructure & Automation

• Strong experience designing AWS infrastructure in enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in Terraform or OpenTofu
• Multi-environment provisioning and governance implementation
• Strong understanding of security and compliance controls

Oracle Workloads

• Experience migrating, hosting, or optimising Oracle databases within AWS
• Understanding of enterprise legacy estate transformation

End-User Computing & Application Delivery

• Strong experience with Citrix environments or Amazon AppStream 2.0
• Application virtualisation and secure desktop delivery
• Integration with Active Directory and enterprise identity services
• Secure remote access architecture

Identity & Access Management

• Experience integrating enterprise Identity Providers (e.g. Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, Ping, ForgeRock, AWS IAM Identity Center)
• Strong knowledge of SAML, OIDC, and federation
• Implementation of SSO, MFA, and Zero Trust principles

Scripting & Automation

• Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Configuration management and automation tooling
