Job Description
The Area IT Manager will pilot multi-property digital initiatives at three resort locations, translating high-level strategy into on-site action. The incumbent will steward technology operations, serve as the integration point for corporate IT and property leadership, and ensure initiatives deliver measurable improvements in guest satisfaction, efficiency, and staff enablement in line with the transformation roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-property delivery of IT and digital programs, covering in-room tech, network enhancements, and guest-facing platforms, aligned with the transformation plan.
- Synchronize efforts among corporate IT, property executives, vendors, and system integrators to secure timely, quality outcomes.
- Explain technical concepts in business terms to senior stakeholders and department heads to drive buy-in.
- Build trust with General Managers and department leaders; communicate with clarity to non-technical audiences.
- Design and execute change-management strategies, including training and communications to foster adoption.
- Develop a deep understanding of resort operations and guest journeys to ensure technology elevates service without intrusion.
- Capture ongoing feedback from frontline teams to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party partners to ensure adherence to timelines and service standards.
- Support cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance initiatives at the property level and promote awareness among staff.
- Proactively raise risks and issues to corporate IT and leadership with concise, actionable updates.

Requirements
- Strong grasp of hospitality technology stacks (PMS, POS, CRM, guest-facing platforms).
- Experience with cloud-based ecosystems and multi-vendor project oversight.
- Operational literacy with a practical view of hotel and resort workflows.
- Structured planner who can translate technical details into business value; proficient in reporting and execution.
- Familiarity with enterprise-grade deployments (Opera, Micros, HR Fusion, Dailypoint CRM, Cisco/Ruckus/Fortinet/HP network gear, Dell/Server, Commvault, Eleanor, etc.).
- Resilient and adaptable; thrives in remote, high-pressure, multi-site settings.
- Hospitality or luxury service background preferred; experience overseeing multiple properties advantageous; Maldivian nationality is a plus.
