Backend Developer (Enterprise Applications)

Wiselyst is an IT consulting and software development company. We support mid-to-large Italian and international businesses in building digital solutions, accompanying them through every phase of their technology projects.

For our consulting division, we're looking for a Backend Developer with at least 5 years of experience.

• Develop enterprise applications with a focus on microservices and cloud architectures;


• Handle technical analysis, development, and API integration;


• Write automated tests;


• Collaborate actively with the development team.

• Python with Django, Flask, and/or FastAPI (minimum 5 years of experience);


• Experience working with RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL);


• Development and integration skills using SOAP, REST, and WebSocket protocols;


• Fluent english and EU resident.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and messaging protocols (MQTT, AMQP, event-driven design);


• Azure cloud services;


• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar tools).

Freelance engagement from European Union (VAT number required), fully remote.

Indicative rate: €280–€330/day, based on experience, seniority, and domain knowledge.
