Long-term Freelance Brand Designer

Strategic Brand Practice | Remote | Malaysia preferred (SEA open)

TBH is looking for a long-term freelance brand designer to partner closely on regional brand transformation projects.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing

• Developing brand identity systems (not just logos)
• Translating strategy into structured visual languages
• Building color systems, typography systems, layout logic
• Preparing rationales, decks, refinements
• Supporting visual audits & competitive brand analysis
• Fleshing out concepts once direction is defined
• Refining and systemising decisions until they are presentation-ready

Ideal Profile

• 5–8 years of experience
• Some agency background (regional / international exposure is a plus)
• Strong foundation in typography, grids, hierarchy, restraint
• Comfortable working within a clear system (not “vibes-based design”)
• Organised, structured, deadline-conscious
• Able to take direction and elevate it without ego
