About The Role

At Catawiki, our Talent Acquisition team plays a key role in building the tech organisation that powers our marketplace. As our Tech Recruiter, you’ll focus on finding and connecting with great engineering talent in Lisbon, Amsterdam and across the world, including candidates open to relocation.

Your core responsibility is sourcing and screening. You’ll identify strong profiles, reach out in thoughtful ways and quickly assess whether they’re a match for our teams. You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand what’s needed, build solid pipelines and keep the process moving smoothly.

As our tech team continues to grow, you’ll be an important partner in helping us hire the engineers who will shape the next chapters of our product.

Who You Are

You’re a Tech Recruiter who loves the hunt. You know how to find engineers others overlook, and you’re confident turning a cold profile into a warm conversation. You’ll likely bring:

• Proven experience sourcing and screening engineers, using LinkedIn, Boolean, X-ray and other creative tactics with ease.
• A strong ability to quickly understand who is a real match and who is not. You keep the hiring funnel tight by filtering effectively, even when speaking to many candidates.
• A genuine affinity for tech. You understand the basics of languages, frameworks and architecture, and you can quickly grasp what a team needs.
• The ability to partner well with recruiters and hiring managers, building trust and aligning quickly on what good looks like.
• Comfort using AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini for talent mapping, research and sourcing efficiency.
  
  

Where you’ll be

This position can be based in our Lisbon office. We work in a hybrid setup with Tuesday and Thursday as our fixed office days.

Our Offices and Way of Working

Our vibrant offices in Amsterdam, Paris and Lisbon are designed to inspire collaboration. Most Catawikians operate in a hybrid setup, combining office-based and remote work, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is explicitly stated as fully remote or fully office-based.
