Comp: $160k–$225k base + equity

The opportunity
I’m working with a well-funded, early-stage technology company building mission-critical software in a massive, non-obvious industry. They’re hiring a Founding Frontend Software Engineer to own and scale core user-facing product surfaces from the ground up.
This is a rare role that combines founding-level ownership with a business that already has real customers, revenue, and product-market validation.
What you’ll do
Own the frontend architecture and implementation of new, customer-facing products
Build and ship complex UI on top of API-driven systems and large data models
Translate real-world workflows into intuitive, scalable frontend experiences
Refactor and modernise existing frontend code to improve performance and developer velocity

Define frontend patterns, components, and best practices as the product surface area scales
Work closely with backend engineers and product to deliver end-to-end features
