Join our team to launch and manage the European Sovereign Cloud, delivering high-availability AWS services exclusively for EU customers. The Role

• Lead operations and development for high-availability AWS services within the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC).

• Oversee the launch of the ESC in 2025, collaborating with global AWS teams.

• Contribute to improving availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.

• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve out-of-hours incidents.

• Provide constructive feedback on change management and address operational backlogs.

• Engage in developing and testing scripts to enhance workflows.

What You'll Need

• Expertise in systems engineering, including hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

• Experience scripting processes in Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Solid understanding of Linux and networking, with strong troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to lead the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures (SOPs).

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU.
