Job Description
We have partnered with an ambitious digital health company based in Boston that is using AI to transform how chronic disease is monitored and managed at scale. Backed by $85 million in Series C funding and working with over 60 hospital networks across the US, they are at an inflection point, the clinical validation is done, the contracts are signed, and now they need to build. Their engineering team is small, exceptionally talented, and working on problems that have a direct impact on patient outcomes.
The Opportunity:
As they scale their AI platform across an expanding network of health system clients, they need a Senior AI/ML Engineer who can take ownership of complex technical challenges and help drive the next generation of their clinical intelligence product. This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain existing systems, it is for someone who wants to build something genuinely new in a space where the stakes are real.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing and delivering LLM-powered features that surface clinical insights from complex, unstructured patient data
- Building and maintaining RAG pipelines that make vast volumes of medical records intelligible and actionable
- Working with vector databases to enable fast, accurate retrieval across large clinical datasets
- Collaborating closely with clinical advisors and product teams to ensure AI outputs meet real-world healthcare standards
- Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the technical culture of a growing AI team
