Senior AI/ML Engineer

We have partnered with a fast-growing SaaS company based in Austin that is embedding AI across its entire customer experience platform, and doing it properly. Series C funded with over $120 million raised, they serve more than 2,000 businesses globally and have just crossed $50 million ARR. This is a company that has found its market, proven its model, and is now scaling hard. Engineering is taken seriously here; the CTO came from a foundational AI research background, and the team reflects that.

The Opportunity

With AI now central to their product strategy, they are hiring a Senior AI/ML Engineer to join a growing team responsible for building the intelligence layer across their platform. This is a high-visibility role with real scope, you will be contributing to features used by millions of end users and working alongside some of the strongest engineers in the business.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Building and scaling LLM-powered features across a high-traffic SaaS platform used by businesses globally
• Designing RAG architectures and prompt engineering frameworks that power intelligent, context-aware product experiences
• Working with vector databases and embedding models to deliver fast, relevant AI-driven outputs at scale
• Partnering with product managers and frontend engineers to ship AI features end to end

• Playing an active role in technical strategy discussions and helping define how AI evolves across the product

What We're Looking For

• 5 to 8 years of AI/ML engineering experience with a strong focus on LLMs in production
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
• Proven ability to build and ship AI features in a fast-moving product environment
• Strong Python and experience with at least one major cloud provider
• Someone who is comfortable with ambiguity and can balance speed with quality

Nice to have:

• Experience scaling AI systems on high-traffic consumer or B2B SaaS platforms
• Familiarity with A/B testing AI features and measuring their business impact
• Knowledge of cost optimisation strategies for LLM inference at scale
