AI Engineer (Full-Stack) - Asset Management - Abu Dhabi - Highly Competitive Tax-Free Package
Durlston Partners is working with an exciting Asset Management firm that is expanding its technology hub in Abu Dhabi. You’ll be joining an elite group of engineers, operating in a relaxed, open-collar environment. You will work closely with quantitative researchers and portfolio managers to build sophisticated, AI-driven applications. This is a hands-on, full-stack role where you will design scalable architectures from the ground up, leveraging the latest in generative AI to augment and accelerate the firm's investment capabilities.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end full-stack applications using a Python backend and React/TypeScript frontend.
- Deeply integrate LLMs and AI coding agents into the development workflow, with a specific focus on leveraging Claude Code to accelerate engineering and build intelligent internal tools.
- Architect robust, scalable software solutions that directly support quantitative research, data analysis, and trading operations.
- Collaborate directly with investment professionals to translate complex financial workflows into intuitive, high-performance applications.

What They’re Looking For
- Strong academic background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a top-tier university.
- Proven commercial experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, ideally within a financial, trading, or high-growth tech environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript).
- Strong, hands-on experience utilizing Claude Code (or heavily utilizing similar advanced AI coding agents/CLI tools) to drive and optimize development workflows.
- A deep interest in the intersection of generative AI and financial technology.
