Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of complex Full Flight Simulation (DoF) systems. This role is responsible for managing the complete System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including planning, analysis, design, implementation, integration, testing, and maintenance of advanced aircraft simulator platforms.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and developing full flight simulation systems and strong expertise in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Key Responsibilities
- Research, define, and design simulator subsystems and integration strategies.
- Develop system diagrams, interface control documents (ICDs), and technical design documentation.
- Create and maintain system architectures using tools such as CAMEO (or similar SysML/MBSE tools).
- Apply system modeling techniques to analyze and visualize system components and interactions.
- Conduct requirements analysis (functional and non-functional) and manage requirement traceability.
- Define integration plans and interface definitions across control systems and related subsystems.
- Identify technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Participate in verification & validation (V&V) planning and execution.
- Support integration of network architecture between simulator systems across server racks.
- Design, implement, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network infrastructure.
- Perform maintenance tasks including patching, configuration updates, re-racking, and re-cabling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, process, and discipline engineers.
- Travel up to 15% as required.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace) or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems engineering within aerospace, simulation, or related technical domains.
- Direct experience designing and developing Full Flight (DoF) Simulation systems.
- Proficiency with CAMEO (or equivalent MBSE/SysML tools).
- Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE/MBD).
- Strong understanding of system architecture, interface definitions, and integration methodologies.
- Experience with requirements analysis and management tools.
- Familiarity with risk management processes.
- Experience designing and managing simulator network architectures.
- Knowledge of control systems principles.
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
