Finta is changing that. We automate bookkeeping, file taxes quickly and compliantly, and give companies real-time financial metrics. Our goal is simple: to remove the manual, tedious parts of finance so that smart people can focus on hard problems.

What you'll do

- Ship secure, fast, and scalable production code across the stack.

- Collaborate directly with the CEO and designer to deliver complete product features - backend to frontend.

- Work with our modern, opinionated stack: Ruby on Rails, Hotwire, Stimulus, Tailwind, Redis, and more.

- Build and maintain banking and accounting integrations with rigorous data-quality and reliability standards.

- Continuously improve testing, observability, security, and deployments on Render.

- Work asynchronously with minimal meetings - we trust you to manage your time and ship great work.

You'll be a good fit if you

- Have 4+ years working with server-side rendered Rails apps in production

- You regularly use AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to ship production code and can show real examples of leveraging them effectively.

- Thrive in async, ownership-driven environments.

- Prefer simple, pragmatic solutions over clever abstractions.

- Take pride in solving hard problems, writing efficient code, and shipping polished, end-to-end features.
