As a DB2 Linux admin you will make an impact by installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing IBM DB2 databases running on Linux systems. You will be a valued member of the ISG team and work collaboratively with managers, co workers and clients.
In This Role, You Will
- Analyze business requirements to translate functional needs into effective technical solutions.
- Estimate and forecast work efforts, ensuring accurate planning and delivery timelines.
- Manage Service Work Requests (SWRs) and Service Requests (SRs) with a strong understanding of MRP processes and priorities.
- Administer and support Windows Server environments, ensuring stability, performance, and best‑practice configurations.
- Support and enhance WebFOCUS applications, including:
- Self‑Service App processing
- ReportCaster scheduling and processing
- Ongoing report and program maintenance
- Maintain and enhance custom Java code for the ReportCaster Scheduling application.
- Support HTML-based custom applications, including maintenance of the FInD application.
- Work with Informatica workflows and integrations, ensuring data processes run reliably and efficiently.
- Perform Informatica Administration, including monitoring, troubleshooting, user management, and environment maintenance.

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years expertise in an IT related role
- 5+ years in Linux, DB2, and Mainframe systems
- Strong experience in Java and Informatica

Salary And Other Compensation
Application will be accepted until February 26, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $75,000- $94,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
