About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability of our services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices in DevOps, automate deployment pipelines, and optimize our cloud architecture. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud services, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud engineering, with proven experience in AWS and DevOps practices. Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and container orchestration is essential, as is experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo CD and Octopus Deploy. Familiarity with SaaS product development, startup environments, and solutions-focused teamwork is highly valued. Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like EKS, EC2, S3, and RDS.
• Developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration management.
• Leading CI/CD pipeline implementation and automation to streamline deployment processes, utilizing tools such as Argo CD and Octopus Deploy.
• Managing container orchestration with Kubernetes, ensuring optimal deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Collaborating with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements to enhance system stability and security.
• Implementing security best practices and compliance measures within the cloud environment.
