As a Senior Architect, you will be part of our global product engineering leadership team, designing and contributing to API development for our Enterprise Integration Platform and APAC channel driven strategic product rollouts. Critical for improving the customer experience of existing products and accelerating the launch of new products, you play a key role in designing and building scalable systems that drive innovation and efficiency across our KYC and Compliance ecosystem. 

Role Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure APIs for our enterprise platform which connects to customer facing products, 3rd party systems, and regulatory compliance, risk, payments, back office and other backend systems.
• Work with global stakeholders to design and develop a configuration driven platform for regulatory compliance needs of channel driven product country rollouts for APAC region.
• Ensure API security best practices, authentication, and compliance with industry standards.
• Ensure existing and new APIs meet global performance benchmarks and compliance standards, enabling faster product launches and superior customer experiences.
• Emphasize customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality across the team.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and implementing long term fixes.
• Drive technical excellence by mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across global teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, across Product and Technology, to define, deliver, and operate technical solutions.
  
  

Role Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience and a proven track record of delivering complex, mission critical systems.
• 7+ years of software development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, Sprint Batch, Core Java, microservices architectures, and event driven architectures.
• Solid understanding of Relational Database Management System such as PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, etc.
• Experience in designing and developing high performance APIs, deployed globally on cloud platforms such as AWS. Partner with Cloud Architects and Principal Engineers to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Excellent understanding of modern software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including source control, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
• Hands-on experience in domains such as Payments, Banking, or other Financial Services are preferred.
