Job Description


We are looking for a highly creative, energetic and organised Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team at Sensation Station.

This is a hands-on, front-facing role for someone who loves content creation, understands branding and enjoys working with children. Social media management will be the core focus of this role, with crossover into marketing support, outreach, events and light admin support to the Head of Marketing.

The ideal candidate is confident both in front of and behind the camera, personable, engaging and excited to help grow our brand presence online and within the community. This role is perfect for someone who wants variety, creativity and real impact in a growing family-focused brand.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media & Content Creation (Core Role)

  • Manage all social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube
  • Plan and manage monthly content calendars aligned with promotions and seasonal campaigns alongside the Marketing Manager
  • Create scroll-stopping hooks and capture high-quality photos and videos
  • Edit and publish reels, stories, shorts, posts and videos
  • Write engaging captions, hashtags and basic marketing copy
  • Maintain brand voice, aesthetic and visual consistency
  • Optimise content for reach, engagement and platform algorithms
  • Manage daily posting, engagement and community interaction
  • Create and monitor paid ads and campaigns
  • Track performance, analytics and prepare monthly reports with insights
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, tools and best practices
  • Coordinate content shoots with the team and leadership


MARKETING, OUTREACH & EVENTS

  • Support marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Help design posters, banners, flyers and in-centre visuals when required
  • Liaise with printers and other suppliers
  • Support events, activations and community outreach
  • Assist with outreach to schools and community partners
  • Support on-site activations and promotional days when needed.


ADMIN & COORDINATION

  • Support basic admin related to marketing and social media
  • Coordinate content timelines, shoot schedules and deadlines
  • Work cross-functionally with management and therapists
  • Support organisation of marketing materials and assets


Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in Social Media Management and/or Content Creation
  • Very strong video editing skills (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts etc.)
  • Experience managing business social media accounts
  • Highly proficient with tools such as Canva, CapCut etc.
  • Understanding of branding, aesthetics and storytelling
  • Strong English communication skills - written and spoken
  • Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others on camera
  • Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple content pieces daily
  • Knowledge and experience of paid ads and analytics
  • History of employment longevity (agency background acceptable)
  • High energy, personable, engaging and professional
