Job Description


About this Position As a Senior Payroll Specialist at Henkel, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while driving compliance and process improvements. You will be the go-to person for payroll operations in your designated country or region.

What You´ll Do

  • Guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing, meeting all statutory and compliance requirements
  • Perform payroll controls in accordance with internal requirements
  • Validate pre- and post-payroll reports and coordinate with stakeholders on resolution of potential issues
  • Cooperate with in-country payroll provider, Local HR and Finance regarding day-to-day operations
  • Contribute to projects aimed at automating and harmonizing payroll processes
  • Support Henkel employees with payroll related queries or questions
  • Create, review and maintain workflow documents and manuals

What makes you a good fit

  • Education in Human Resources/Accounting/Business Administration
  • Previous Payroll or HR experience is a must (1-3 years recommended)
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Full proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Excel on advanced level (lookup functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Strong ownership and drive, passion for self-development
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage peaks
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Minimum salary: 1700 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview).
