Job Description
About this Position As a Senior Payroll Specialist at Henkel, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while driving compliance and process improvements. You will be the go-to person for payroll operations in your designated country or region.
What You´ll Do
- Guarantee timely and accurate payroll processing, meeting all statutory and compliance requirements
- Perform payroll controls in accordance with internal requirements
- Validate pre- and post-payroll reports and coordinate with stakeholders on resolution of potential issues
- Cooperate with in-country payroll provider, Local HR and Finance regarding day-to-day operations
- Contribute to projects aimed at automating and harmonizing payroll processes
- Support Henkel employees with payroll related queries or questions
- Create, review and maintain workflow documents and manuals
- Education in Human Resources/Accounting/Business Administration
- Previous Payroll or HR experience is a must (1-3 years recommended)
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Full proficiency in English (additional European languages are a plus)
- Excel on advanced level (lookup functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
- Strong ownership and drive, passion for self-development
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage peaks
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
