Vice President, Head of Commercial - US

EPM are leading the search for a US Vice President, Head of Commercial to lead an established and highly regarded franchise dedicated to the Acute Care/Neonatology space.

This opportunity will be responsible for leading all commercial all commercial: Sales, Marketing & Training team members across the franchise. Working within a stable biopharmaceutical organization who are driven to provide best in class products to patients and this is reflected in the product portfolio and commercial infrastructure within the franchise.

Role Overview

As the Vice President, Head of Commercial, you will hold full accountability for the US business, including its P&L. You will lead efforts across Sales, Marketing, and Training divisions, ensuring the franchise maintains its leadership within the acute care space, while driving growth and service excellence.

Key Skills and Attributes

  • Business Leadership: Extensive experience managing commercial operations within the pharmaceuticals sector, with a focus on results-driven P&L management.
  • Hospital Products Experience: working within the hospital setting understanding nuances of contracting, IDN's and GPOs
  • Strategic Vision: Proven ability to craft and execute impactful strategies within the acute care or neonatology landscape.
  • Sales and Marketing Acumen: Expertise in leading Sales and Marketing teams to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Training and Development: Strong background in fostering talent and upskilling teams to excel in high-pressure environments.
  • Critical Care Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of critical care dynamics and requirements in the pharmaceutical space.

Working Format: 3 days per week onsite. Remote working not available

This company has a strong culture and in office presence, with this role interacting with C-Suite executives and senior leaders daily. As a result candidates will need to be based in commutable distance to the Cary, NC office. Executive Relocation assistance is provided.
