Senior Software Engineer — Product (On-site, San Francisco)

Compensation: $150K–$250K base + equity


About the role


Our client has built the first AI-powered recruiter marketplace used by Cursor, Shopify, Ramp, Coinbase, Palantir, and more. They scaled from $11M → $80M ARR in under a year, with ~30% of revenue now driven by AI recruiting agents—built by a core team of just 10 engineers.


They’re doubling engineering headcount and hiring product-minded full-stack builders across three tracks: (1) 2–4 YOE full-stack owners who ship end-to-end, (2) senior/staff engineers (3–8 YOE) who’ve led complex systems, and (3) AI/LLM product engineers who’ve shipped real LLM features.

  • Intelligently match millions of candidates and companies with our unique and proprietary data source driven by recruiters
  • Design monetary and social incentives to define how recruiters should work and help them earn more than ever
  • Build core tooling to power recruiter workflows and enable accurate candidate matching (AI notetaker, email sequencing, chrome extension, etc.)
  • Create a new paradigm for how candidates find their dream job via recruiters and lay the foundations to build the next LinkedIn
  • Hack away at creative ways to acquire marketplace liquidity in new industries like Legal, Finance, and Healthcare


What You’ll Bring


  • 3+ years software engineering experience; proven record of shipping user-facing product.
  • Strong TypeScript + React experience; Python a plus.
  • Experience designing scalable systems and working across the full web stack.
  • High agency, crisp communication, and product taste with deep user empathy.
  • Comfortable being scrappy to get value in customers’ hands fast—and then hardening for scale.


Logistics & Comp


  • Location: San Francisco, on-site 5 days/week (relocation welcome).
  • Compensation: $150K-$250K + equity.
  • Headcount: hiring up to 5 engineers for this function.
  • Process: ~3 steps with engineering and founders.
  • Visa: No new sponsorships; transfers may be possible (processing timelines can vary).
