What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and improving software leveraging modern engineering methodologies
- Delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java-based solutions
- Building microservices using Spring and Spring Boot
- Collaborating closely with peers, participating in code reviews, and promoting a shared engineering culture
- Following secure coding practices to protect sensitive data and ensure robust solutions
- Writing reliable unit tests to ensure quality, readability, and resilience
- Staying informed on emerging technologies and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing communities

Essential Skills
- Strong experience in Java development, including excellent knowledge of Spring and Spring Boot
- Multithreading is essential for the role (experience with it MUST be stated in the CV)
- Solid understanding of core Java and performance tuning
- Experience designing and implementing microservice architectures
- Proficiency with development and CI/CD tools such as GIT, TeamCity, and other industry-standard toolsets
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and principles
Nice to Have
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs
- Knowledge of Kafka, GraphQL, or distributed event-driven systems
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure principles
- Exposure to containerisation technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
