About The Role
We are seeking an Analyst to join the People Analytics team as an automation expert. This role is highly technical and analytical, requiring a hands-on approach to building reliable datasets, automating reporting processes, and preparing data insights for leadership reviews. The successful candidate will play a key role in scaling reporting frameworks across the People data stack, working closely with cross-functional teams such as People Systems, Data Platform, Finance, and Recruiting Operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL skills, experience in data analysis or engineering, and a passion for automating manual processes to improve efficiency and accuracy. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making through data-driven insights while growing expertise in the People Analytics domain.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role, including data analysis, data engineering, business intelligence, or consulting within a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in SQL, including writing production queries, building ad-hoc ETLs, and conducting data validations.
- Experience with data cleaning, joining, and validating multi-source datasets, with the ability to communicate data limitations effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing clear, slide-ready charts and tables for leadership audiences.
- Ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders and translate business questions into technical data requirements.
- Automation experience using Python or similar programming languages is a plus.
- Familiarity with HRIS, ATS, or payroll data is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Leverage the engineering stack to automate manual data analytics and reporting processes, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Conduct data gathering, reporting, and analysis to support Executive Business Reviews and ad-hoc deep dives.
- Own the preparation of reporting and slide-ready data exports for leadership presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including People Systems, Finance, Data Platform, and Recruiting Operations, to prepare, validate, and document datasets used for People reporting.
- Assist in building and automating recurring reports based on existing frameworks and stakeholder feedback.
- Partner with data warehouse engineering teams to enhance the accuracy, freshness, lineage, and robustness of core People datasets.
- Develop ad hoc data pipelines and implement rigorous data validation procedures to support high-stakes executive reporting and analysis.

- Competitive salary range of $153,000 to $170,000, commensurate with experience.
