At our Siemens Foundational Technologies Development Center we are focused on a product development including software development, hardware development, mechanical design, and testing for the next generation concept of Industry 4.0.
We would like to invite you to cooperate on the development of industrial automation products. We focus on complete product development and integration across the entire automation system. Currently we are searching for a DevOps Engineer with embedded software development background who can effectively connect traditional embedded systems development with modern DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
You will focus on:
- Implementing build systems and compilation workflows using CMake for cross-platform embedded targets
- Implementing build systems and compilation workflows
- Defining and setting up CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms (GitHub Enterprise, GitLab, Azure DevOps)
- Optimizing and maintaining pipelines (e.g. via NodeJS based GitHub Actions)
- Managing and maintaining of artifacts, packages and binaries in Artifactory
- Supporting development teams with the git-based version control system
- Implementing cybersecurity measures based on vulnerability assessments
- Driving automation initiatives across development processes
- Providing consultation and support for various development and test tooling
- Working collaboratively in an agile team environment
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development workflows
- Proficiency with CMake build systems for embedded targets
