Database Administrator & Application Developer

About the Opportunity:

This role is for a Database Administrator & Application Developer on the dPLM Program Team. The team designs, implements, and improves mission-critical databases that support 1LMX initiatives and product life cycle management efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle and SAP HANA databases across environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL, SQL, and SAP HANA native scripts for application features and reporting.

• Tune database performance by identifying bottlenecks and applying indexing, partitioning, and optimizer fixes.

• Develop and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies; conduct restore drills regularly.

• Implement security policies, role-based access controls, and data encryption standards.

• Build and support automated deployment pipelines for schema changes and code releases.

• Create and maintain dashboards, ad hoc queries, and scheduled reports for stakeholders.

• Monitor system health using alerts, logs, and metrics; troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly.

• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate database changes into application code and QA cycles.

• Document architecture, procedures, and best practices; train and mentor junior staff.

• Coordinate with vendors and internal audit teams to ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.

Requirements:

• Experience with Windchill PDMLink or similar PLM applications.

• Strong SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.

• Knowledge of system architecture.

• Familiarity with SAP S4.

• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (Apriso).

• Background in configuration management.

• Programming skills in Oracle SQL, HANA SQL, T SQL, and DB2 SQL.

• Experience with BOM planning.

• Report development experience with Crystal Reports.

• Experience with CAMEO - Dassault preferred.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain secret clearance.
