Senior Mendix Developer - Technical Lead & Coach

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mendix Developer who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for someone who not only excels at building high-quality Mendix applications, but who also elevates the team, introduces innovation, and drives strategic improvements across our delivery landscape. This individual will take ownership of end-to-end Mendix delivery, act as a technical coach for multiple Agile teams, and champion modern engineering practices including the adoption of AI-driven accelerators

Roles & Responsibilities

• Development - Lead hands-on Mendix development within Agile teams, ensuring scalable, secure, high-performing solutions.
• Coaching- Provide coaching to junior and mid-level developers on best practices, code quality, modular architecture, and Mendix patterns.
• Conduct code reviews, solution design sessions, and technical troubleshooting
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to refine requirements into robust Mendix solutions.
• Enhance development standards, maintainability, and performance of Mendix applications.- Maintain and improve CICD pipelines and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Strategic Technical Leadership - Act Serve as a true Lead Developer, shaping the technical roadmap for Mendix initiatives.
• Innovate and drive adoption of new ways of working especially leveraging AI tools to Accelerate development throughput
• Improve code consistency Automate documentation Enhance testing and release processes
• Evaluate upcoming Mendix and low-code features and recommend improvements.
• Influence cross-team engineering culture and introduce frameworks that elevate capability maturity.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant 7+ years of experience.
