Senior Front End/React Developer (Contract)

Akkodis is actively seeking a talented Front End/React Developer for a contract position with our direct client. This position supports a federal government agency; candidate must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust security clearance.

This position is a fully remote CONTRACT; duration is SIX MONTHS (extension is possible but not guaranteed)

Pay rate: $60hr w2

**5-7 years of exp. with React is required

Role:

-Design develop, and unit test front-ends using React, KendoReact, Webpack in a Module Federation micro front-end architecture to run in an Azure cloud environment.

- Build modular, reusable React components and front-end libraries for long-term scalability and future use.

- Analyze existing code base and recommend and implement updates for design/coding best practices for performance, scalability, and accessibility.

- Coordinate with back-end developers to integrate UIs with microservices.

- Perform 508 compliance development testing using Axe DevTools or other 508 compliance testing tools.

- Use Microsoft Copilot to assist with coding and unit testing to make development process more efficient.

- Continuously refactor and improve the code base for efficiency, maintainability, and clarity.

- Participate in code reviews to share knowledge with teammates and ensure consistency across code base.

- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and use Azure Boards to manage work tasks. Demo developed code to stakeholders, including the customer, in sprint review demos.
