Human Resources Project Manager (Remote)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Project Manager to support our Operations Recruiting team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works efficiently with minimal supervision, and excels at managing, analyzing, and synthesizing data from multiple sources.

As a trusted partner to recruiting and HR leadership, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence-ensuring the team has accurate, timely, and actionable information to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain a variety of operational and recruiting reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness
  • Manage and move data seamlessly across multiple systems and sources, improving data reliability and usability
  • Consolidate interview notes and stakeholder feedback into clear, high-level executive summaries
  • Develop polished PowerPoint presentations and Excel reports that effectively communicate insights, trends, and recommendations
  • Organize and maintain files, documentation, and records to ensure efficiency and accessibility
  • Independently manage tasks, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with recruiters, HR partners, and leadership to support ongoing projects and operational initiatives

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation
  • Experience in project management or project coordination within HR, recruiting, or operations
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready summaries
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and process improvement
  • Previous experience as an executive assistant, data analyst, or in a data-entry-focused role
  • Comfort working with multiple data tools, systems, and reporting platforms

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Fully remote role (must be based within the CST time zone)
  • Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM CST
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
