About The Role
The Senior DevOps Engineer on the Cloud Engineering team will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure scalability, security, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strong background in infrastructure as code, CI/CD automation, cloud architecture, and system reliability.
You will collaborate closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to drive innovation, improve platform resilience, and streamline software delivery. As a key technical leader, you will influence best practices, mentor engineers, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the company's cloud engineering strategy.
The ideal candidate has experience managing cloud-based environments, automating infrastructure provisioning, optimizing deployment workflows, and enhancing system performance. Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
- Deep expertise in AWS, specifically with EC2, ECS, and Lambda, including building AWS Cloud Native Infrastructure.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell for automation and legacy support.
- Experience in software development using Python and TypeScript.
- Proven experience with containerization technologies, particularly Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Networking proficiency, including DNS management and Route53 for public-facing sites.
- Knowledge of security and IAM practices, including KMS, Active Directory, and identity providers like Auth0, SAML, or Keycloak.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues across distributed systems.
- Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
- Located in Latin America.
