About The Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our platform delivers a seamless, engaging, and user-friendly experience for millions of chess players worldwide. Your expertise in coding, design, and user experience will be critical in maintaining and enhancing our platform’s functionality and aesthetic appeal. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to implement new features, optimize existing functionalities, and troubleshoot technical issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a globally recognized platform while working remotely from anywhere in the world. The ideal candidate is passionate about chess, possesses advanced technical skills, and is eager to innovate within a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in CSS, including Flexbox and Grid layout techniques
• Advanced knowledge of CSS preprocessors such as SCSS
• Strong understanding of Vue.js component architecture with TypeScript support
• Experience using developer tools for debugging, tracing issues, and resolving root causes
• Familiarity with local scope CSS strategies like Scoped CSS and CSS Variables
• Proven ability to create pixel-perfect, fully responsive designs with minimal CSS
• Experience collaborating on large projects and high-traffic websites
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a distributed environment
• Sense of ownership, responsibility, and proactive problem-solving attitude

• Develop and maintain a highly responsive and visually appealing user interface for the platform
• Collaborate with design and development teams to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across all devices
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to best practices

• Contribute to the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance codebases
• Support the deployment process and monitor platform performance post-release
