- Work Arrangement: Fully remote, but candidates must reside within a commutable distance (approximately a two-hour commute one way) to any of the firm's offices. Preference is given to candidates on the East Coast.

Salary Range: $125,800 โ $194,000 annually (depending on experience and qualifications)

- Washington D.C.: $125,000 to $182,000

- Atlanta: $115,000 to $166,000

Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer, Cybersecurity Identity & Access Management (IAM) to join their Information Security team. In this role, you will focus on the design, implementation, and ongoing management of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) integrations with enterprise systems, applications, and services. You will play a pivotal role in advancing identity governance, streamlining access provisioning, and enforcing security policies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain SailPoint ISC solutions to support identity lifecycle management, access certifications, policy enforcement, and governance reporting.
- Configure and customize SailPoint connectors, workflows, and rules to align with business and compliance requirements.
- Integrate SailPoint with enterprise systems including Active Directory, Workday, Entra ID, and other critical business applications.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define use cases, and implement identity governance processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to access provisioning, entitlements, policy violations, and identity synchronization.
- Implement and maintain security policies and governance controls to mitigate identity-related risks.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and business stakeholders on SailPoint-related initiatives.

Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Deep understanding of identity governance concepts, including joiner/mover/leaver (JML) processes, birthright access, access reviews, policy violations, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud or IdentityNow, including building and customizing identity cubes, entitlements, roles, policies, and certifications.
- Experience integrating SailPoint with HR and directory systems (e.g., Workday, Active Directory, LDAP) for lifecycle triggers and account provisioning.
- Proficiency configuring application connectors (SCIM, JDBC, AD, REST, etc.) for onboarding and account management across internal and SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with SailPoint rule development (Beanshell/Java), transform scripts, and workflow automation.
- Experience designing and executing access certification campaigns for compliance and audit purposes.
- Knowledge of identity risk scoring, policy violation remediation, and reporting/dashboard capabilities within SailPoint.
- Understanding of secure architecture principles and integrating SailPoint with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for access requests and incident management.
- Proven ability to collaborate with vendors, Information Security, IT, and business stakeholders to advance IGA initiatives.
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes including incident, problem, change, and release management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in information security, identity governance, or IAM engineering.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SailPoint IdentityNow / ISC Certified Implementation Engineer) are preferred.
- Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and managing IGA solutions using SailPoint.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex technical governance concepts into business terms.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and solution delivery lifecycles.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and dedication to organizational objectives.
- Strong execution skills with attention to detail, delivering measurable value to the business.

Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $125,800 to $194,000 annually, depending on experience, education, certifications, and location. This role is exempt and not eligible for overtime pay.
