Senior Data Visualization Engineer - Tableau Analytics

We are looking for an experienced Data Visualization Engineer / Tableau Consultant to join a high-impact Data Visualization team supporting business-critical Pre-Sales and Revenue Analytics functions.

The role involves end-to-end ownership of dashboard development, stakeholder engagement, performance optimization, and publishing enterprise-grade reporting solutions.

You will work closely with product, sales, and analytics stakeholders in an Agile delivery model, delivering executive-ready insights through Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards end-to-end
• Translate business requirements into impactful KPI reporting and visual analytics
• Connect Tableau with multiple data sources (SQL DBs, Snowflake, Excel, etc.)
• Build advanced calculations using parameters, filters, and business logic
• Implement LOD expressions and table calculations for complex metrics
• Optimize workbook performance (extracts vs live, Hyper usage, best practices)
• Publish, manage, and maintain dashboards on Tableau Cloud/Server
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting for executive-level consumption
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Document dashboards, metrics definitions, and reusable reporting assets

Must-Have Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop + Tableau Cloud/Server
• Proven expertise in building and publishing dashboards independently
• Solid knowledge of SQL and working with structured datasets
• Experience with calculated fields, parameters, filters, LODs, and table calculations
• Strong understanding of dashboard performance optimization techniques
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with stakeholders

Nice to Have:

• Experience in revenue, sales, pipeline, or pre-sales analytics
• Tableau Prep exposure and data modelling knowledge (joins, unions, relationships)
• Familiarity with Tableau Extensions or embedding dashboards
• Background in consulting or client-facing analytics delivery
