Job Description
Creative Director
Our Mission
Legacybox helps people preserve and enjoy their most precious memories. We digitize old photos, videos, and audio, transforming physical media into organized digital collections that families can access, share, and cherish for generations. Our customers trust us with their irreplaceable memories, from their parents' wedding photos to their children's first words captured on VHS tape.
We're modernizing how millions of people relive their digitized memories through a beautiful, fast, and intuitive app. This is consumer software at its best: real users, real emotions, and real impact.
About the Role
As Creative Director, you'll be both brand strategist and visual architect, defining the evolution of Legacybox as we expand from a trusted digitization service into a comprehensive software platform for organizing, sharing, and enhancing family memories. Partnering directly with our founding team, you'll set the strategic direction for our brand while establishing the design systems and standards that ensure every touchpoint, from TV advertising to social media to our website and digital product, reflects our commitment to beauty and emotional resonance.
Your work will elevate Legacybox from a beloved brand with 1.5 million customers into a household name. This role demands both visionary thinking and hands-on execution: crafting brand strategy, designing campaigns, building toolkits, and establishing the creative quality bar across Marketing and Product.
Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Creative Vision
- Define and evolve the Legacybox brand strategy as we expand into a software platform, ensuring our identity reflects both our heritage and our future.
- Establish visual principles for motion, typography, color, and tone across all customer touchpoints, from ad spots to product interfaces.
- Create brand guidelines and asset libraries that empower Marketing and Product teams to execute with consistency and excellence.
- Set the creative quality bar across the organization and champion a culture of craft and emotional storytelling.
Creative Execution & Campaign Development
- Lead the creative direction of campaigns across TV advertising, social media, web, and digital product launches.
- Design high-impact brand moments that elevate Legacybox into a household name while honoring the trust families place in us.
- Produce both strategic frameworks and hands-on creative work from positioning and messaging to finished visual assets.
- Ensure brand consistency across every customer journey, from first impression to in-app experience.

- Scalable creative systems that accelerate execution while raising quality standards.
- Measurable growth in brand awareness, customer trust, and engagement.
