About the Role The Digital Collaboration Team Leader is responsible for driving the development, governance, and adoption of Microsoft 365, Power Platform, the company intranet, and custom collaboration solutions. You will lead a team of around 10 specialists who build secure, scalable, and user centric digital workplace services. This role blends people leadership, platform ownership, and strategic alignment - ensuring collaboration tools effectively support global business needs and follow enterprise standards, including M365, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform, and emerging AI driven capabilities such as Copilot. About the Digital Collaboration Team Our team partners closely with departments across Hapag‑Lloyd to: - Deliver intuitive and scalable digital collaboration solutions - Drive adoption of modern digital ways of working - Govern enterprise collaboration technologies (M365, intranet, automation tools) - Support business stakeholders through consulting, best practices, and continuous improvements The team values knowledge sharing, innovation, ownership, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Lead & Inspire

  • Lead and develop a team of Digital Collaboration specialists, fostering a high‑performance culture built on ownership, learning, and empowerment. 
  • Set the vision and roadmap for collaboration technologies across the organization.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and competency development for the team.

Shape the Digital Workplace and Partner with Business

  • Support the evolution of the Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Platform), also by continuously scouting market and technology trends, evaluating new capabilities, and aligning adoption with Hapag Lloyd’s strategy and business needs. 
  • Ensure secure, compliant, and scalable collaboration solutions by partnering with business units and stakeholders, guiding intranet and tool design, and managing demand and intake in line with global standards and platform governance.
  • Drive the integration and piloting of new solutions and capabilities. 
  • Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and digitalization.
Qualifications

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years working with Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including governance, security, Teams, SharePoint, and Power Platform. 
  • Experience with intranet governance, content lifecycle, and information architecture. 
  • Prior leadership experience — either as a team leader, chapter lead, technical lead, or senior specialist guiding others.
  • Strong understanding of identity & access, lifecycle management, and compliance concepts in M365.
  • Experience designing user centric collaboration solutions and structuring adoption or change management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of AI enhanced digital workplace technologies (e.g., Copilot).
  • Proven ability to translate digital workplace and collaboration technologies into clear business outcomes and measurable value.
  • Strong experience quantifying and communicating value realization (e.g., ROI, TCO, adoption impact, productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization) linked to technology investments.
