Link Solutions is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team at Adelphi, MD.

Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and manage RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments.
- Administer KVM virtualization, Puppet automation, and kernel-level tuning.
- Implement system patching, STIG compliance, and release/version control.
- Monitor performance, handle incident response, and ensure uptime and data integrity.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or equivalent configuration management tools.
- Maintain backup and recovery solutions and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Conduct system audits and enforce DoD security requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive configuration documentation.

Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
- Must have a BA/BS in computer sciences or information technology with two (5+) years of experience or an AA with seven (7+) years of relevant experience working in an IT or Service Desk environment.
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Certification.
- Ability to work with customers to develop new value-added programs and data solutions with existing structures and new requirements.

- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
- Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
