Are you a seasoned Network Engineer with a passion for large-scale network fabric refresh initiatives? Join our client's critical infrastructure migration program, focusing on high-volume network change activities for a major banking customer. This fully remote role offers the chance to work with cutting-edge Extreme and Cisco technologies, ensuring seamless transitions across NFLEX, Moonshot, and Nutanix environments.

The Role

  • Support the replacement of an existing network fabric and workload migration to new bank-supplied platforms.
  • Engage across three key migration phases: NFLEX, Moonshot, and Nutanix environments.
  • Operate within a two-person delivery model, providing design review, change validation, and four-eyes assurance.
  • Facilitate network changes, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance adherence to strict change and security protocols.
  • Generate comprehensive technical documentation and actively participate in client-facing meetings.

What You'll Need

  • Proven expertise with Extreme and Cisco switching technologies.
  • Deep understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and routing protocols including OSPF and BGP.
  • Experience implementing network security best practices, ACLs, and hardened configurations.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and change assurance capabilities.
  • Comfort working outside standard hours and navigating regulated environments.
