Microsoft 365 Solutions Lead

📍 Victoria, BC (Hybrid: 2–3 days onsite per week)

We are supporting a large, enterprise‑scale organization in recruiting a Microsoft 365 Solutions Lead to guide the development, integration, and optimization of modern workplace solutions across the M365 ecosystem.

This is a senior, hands‑on technical leadership role focused on architecting and delivering high‑impact solutions using Power Platform, SharePoint Online, Teams, and related M365 services. The ideal candidate thrives in complex enterprise environments, leads with influence, and enjoys being both a technical expert and a strategic advisor.

What You’ll Do

As the Microsoft 365 Solutions Lead, you will:

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise‑scale solutions across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and governance for M365 applications and automation.
• Develop multi‑year service roadmaps, strategies, and modernization plans for M365 and related SaaS/COTS tools.
• Conduct research, evaluations, and cost‑benefit analyses for new cloud services, tools, and automation technologies.

Solution Development & Delivery

• Lead the end‑to‑end development of M365 solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise architecture.
• Oversee and troubleshoot application configurations, integrations, and automations (Power Platform, SharePoint, Dataverse, etc.).
• Provide expert guidance on identity and access management (IAM), security, and scalability across the tenant.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and support technical professionals, fostering best practices and promoting innovation.
• Lead technical projects, allocate resources, and ensure successful delivery of complex enterprise initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with business partners, evangelizing M365 capabilities and identifying new opportunities for automation and modernization.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 5+ years designing and implementing M365 solutions (SharePoint Online, Power Platform, Teams).
• 3+ years leading teams and enterprise‑level projects.
• Hands‑on experience with at least two of the following: PowerShell, JavaScript, Python, CSS, SASS.
• Experience with cloud architecture, Dataverse, and database engineering.
• Experience as a Microsoft 365 tenant administrator is an asset.

Technical Skills

• Expert‑level knowledge of Power Platform development, administration, and governance.
• Deep understanding of M365 solution architecture and cross‑platform integrations.
• Experience implementing IAM across enterprise systems.
• Proficiency with modern development practices, SDLC principles, and automation frameworks.
• Ability to develop dynamic web applications (SPFx, Teams apps) using JavaScript, CSS/SASS.
