Analytics Engineer - Data Engineering

This role offers the opportunity to shape and optimize a global analytics ecosystem, transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams, including product, analytics, and engineering, to design and maintain data models, pipelines, and platforms. The position emphasizes both technical expertise and business impact, requiring proficiency in SQL, data transformation, and customer data platforms. You will help ensure data quality, governance, and performance while supporting analytics initiatives across multiple regions. This is a fully remote, collaborative role that requires alignment with U.S. business hours and offers exposure to large-scale media and entertainment analytics challenges. The role is ideal for someone with a strong data engineering foundation who wants to make a tangible impact on analytics strategy and execution.

Accountabilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable analytics data models and pipelines.
• Write complex, production-ready SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and data validation.
• Configure and manage Customer Data Platform (CDP) integrations and Hightouch syncs.
• Work with Snowflake for data modeling, transformations, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with analytics stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and documentation of analytics processes.
• Translate business use cases into technical specifications and end-to-end data flows.
  
  

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in SQL, capable of writing optimized, production-ready queries.
• Hands-on experience with Hightouch or similar CDP tools for data activation.
• Solid experience with Snowflake, including data warehousing, schema design, and query optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn business needs into data solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Preferred: Background in data engineering with experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI), transformation frameworks (dbt), or analytics frameworks.
