Job Description


Xeo Marketing is growing, and we’re looking for someone who loves hands-on execution at the intersection of AI, web optimization, and performance marketing.

This role is execution-focused and ideal for someone who enjoys implementing real changes on websites and strengthening digital credibility through trusted directories, citations, and authority signals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Using data (GA4, GTM, A/B testing) to improve conversion rates and lead quality
  • Implementing real changes on websites (WordPress, content, landing pages, schema)
  • Improving visibility across Search Engines + Answer Engines (AEO)
  • Building trust & authority through directories, citations, and listings
  • Running and optimizing Google Ads campaigns (Search, PMax, Display, YouTube)
  • Implement and maintain Schema JSON-LD markup across websites (Organization, FAQ, Article, Product, Breadcrumb, etc.)
  • You’ll work closely with our internal marketing team and collaborate across content, social, and product teams to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.

Core Skills

  • Website optimization & CMS experience (WordPress preferred)
  • SEO fundamentals + interest in AEO / AI visibility
  • Google Ads & performance marketing experience
  • Trust & authority link building / citation management
  • Strong execution mindset — you like shipping, testing, and improving

Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, web optimization, SEO, or content operations.
  • Proven experience planning, executing, and optimizing paid search campaigns across Google Ads, including Search, Performance Max (PMax), Display, and YouTube.
  • Demonstrated ability to increase conversion rates and lead quality, with experience driving 30%+ improvements through campaign optimization and testing.
  • Strong understanding of full-funnel digital advertising strategies, from awareness and demand generation to SQL and conversion optimization.
  • Experience conducting keyword research, audience segmentation, and ad copy testing to improve relevance, CTR, and engagement.
  • Proven experience implementing updates on live websites and coordinating ongoing maintenance.
  • Experience managing or supporting directory listings, citations, or backlink-building efforts.

Technical & Platform Experience

  • Working knowledge of WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS (PHP knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, GA4, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, or similar).
  • Comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude to assist with content, metadata, and optimization workflows.

Education & Certifications (Nice to Have)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Relevant certifications such as:

  • Google SEO/Digital Marketing Certificates
  • HubSpot Content Marketing or SEO Certification
  • SEMrush or Ahrefs SEO Certification
  • Schema Markup/Technical SEO Certifications
