Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking a highly skilled Okta Developer with expertise in designing, building, integrating, and maintaining Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using Okta to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on authentication, authorization, SSO integrations, application onboarding, automation, and enhancing the organizations Zero Trust identity posture. The developer will work closely with IAM, Security Engineering, Cloud, and Application teams to implement robust identity-driven security controls.The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management (IAM) solutions using Okta. This role ensures secure authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle automation, and integration of Okta with enterprise applications. The engineer will work closely with security, IT, and application teams to maintain strong access controls and enhance the organizations overall security posture.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identity Access Management (IAM) Administer and manage Okta Identity Cloud, including Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Universal Directory Lifecycle Management (LCM)
• Implement authentication and authorization policies aligned with business and security requirements.

• Configure and maintain Okta workflows, rules, and access policies. Integrate Okta with cloud and on-prem applications using SAML, OIDC, SCIM provisioning
• User Lifecycle Access Governance - Automate user provisioning and deprovisioning across systems.
• Maintain role-based access control (RBAC), group policies, and entitlement management.
• Ensure compliance with access governance frameworks (least privilege, separation of duties).
• Security Operations Incident Response - Monitor authentication logs, alerts, and anomalies through Okta dashboard and SIEM tools.
• Investigate suspicious login activity, MFA failures, and attempted account breaches.
• Support incident response activities related to identity-based threats.
• Okta Development Configuration - Develop and maintain Okta workflows, custom expressions, authorization rules, and policies.
• Implement and manage SSO integrations using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, SCIM, and API-based provisioning.
• Create and maintain Universal Directories, groups, lifecycle rules, and custom profiles.
• Configure MFA policies, risk-based authentication, and adaptive access controls.
• Application Onboarding - Onboard enterprise and cloud applications into Okta.

• Implement SCIM-based provisioning de provisioning and lifecycle tasks.
• Coordinate with application owners to gather requirements and ensure seamless SSO integration.
• Automation Scripting - Build automation for user lifecycle workflows using Okta Workflows, APIs, or scripts (PythonPowerShellNode.js). Automate identity governance tasks, reporting, and group-management logic.
• Identity Security Zero Trust - Implement Zero Trust principles across authentication and application access. Enforce least privilege, MFA enforcement, and conditional access policies.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant 8+ years experience.
