- Develop and maintain OLTP and OLAP systems, including indexing, normalization, dimensional modeling, and ER design.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, runbooks, and migration playbooks.
- Apply DevOps principles including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security monitoring, and automation.
- Mentor and coach engineers, guiding best practices and fostering continuous learning within the team.
- 6+ years of experience in RDBMS architecture and 3+ years of AWS architecture experience.
- Expertise in at least two major RDBMS platforms such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
- Advanced skills in database security, HA/DR, performance analysis, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with AWS services including RDS, Aurora, EC2, and cloud-native application design.
- Strong Python scripting and automation skills for workloads.
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, security, FinOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Prior consulting or professional services experience preferred.
- AWS certifications (Professional/Specialty) and Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum C1) for communication across global teams.
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed and operate effectively in fully remote, distributed teams.
