My client is searching for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to help build the next wave of high‑performance, scalable infrastructure powering advanced agentic ecosystems. This role sits at the heart of secure, intelligent authentication for autonomous agents, pushing the boundaries of what modern distributed systems can do. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Spring Boot, FFI, and Kotlin, focusing on scalability, performance, and security.
• Implement and enhance microservices, ensuring modularity, maintainability, and efficient service communication.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and architecture teams to translate business needs into robust backend solutions.

• Lead PoC projects to validate backend solutions’ feasibility, working with internal and external teams.
• Apply secure coding practices to ensure backend systems comply with cybersecurity standards and address emerging threats.
• Utilize DDD and hexagonal architecture patterns to build scalable and maintainable backend applications.

Qualifications

• PhD or Masters in related areas
• Minimum 5 years of backend development experience with a strong focus on Spring Boot, FFI, and Kotlin.
• Knowledge in SPIFFE protocol

• Knowledge in MCP authentication protocols
• Experience with Golang (Nice to have)
• Experience with Docker and k8s
• Deep expertise in building scalable, secure backend systems using microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of SDLC, including secure development processes and continuous integration/deployment.
• Knowledge on AI deployment and agentic ecosystems is highly valued.
