Visual Design Lead

Requirements:

• Candidates should be very charismatic and possess the ability to command a room - weak communication skills (i.e., talking over people on calls, long-winded answers, vague descriptions of prior work, etc.) will lead to immediate disqualification
• Often viable candidates come from other B2B high profile tech firms. A good starting place to focus on would be candidates who previously worked at companies like Microsoft, HP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Intuit, Amazon, AWS, CrowdStrike, Zoom, etc.
• Stripe often likes to see people who are earlier in their careers (3 to 8 year range for experience is generally ideal)
• A “hungry” mentality or interest in proving themselves is a good way to think of this too
• Resumes need to be clean, well crafted, and should have an emphasis on project details and success metrics from their work (and also have a matching LinkedIn profile)

Visual Design Lead - Stripe - 100% Remote (No Preference on Time Zone) - Part-Time Schedule (~20 Hours per Month) - Initial Contract through 12/31/2026 to Start

• Please note that candidates should be visual designers or graphic designers - this is not a UX or UI role!
• Candidate portfolios should be included with submittals and should have a visual aesthetic in line with a high quality brand like Stripe
• The team is fine with this candidate doing this work on top of another full or part time engagement so long as they are able to be response throughout the day
• This role will be focused on support work for the sole designer

Project Description

We are looking for a freelancer who can do around ~15-20 hours/month regularly, to put together social media graphics, event-specific stuff (like booth designs), and occasionally reformat decks to meet our brand guidelines. Needs to have extremely strong visual design skills, animation/illustration is a plus

Duties/Day to Day Overview

• Supporting rebranding initiatives & deliverables
• Creating and adapting multiple logo variations provided by BridgeXYZ
• Industry background is flexible; SaaS or tech experience is a plus
• Design and execute brand and social media assets that align with established visual guidelines
• Reformat, polish, and elevate PowerPoint decks for executive and customer-facing use
• Support rebranding initiatives, including event booth graphics, brand logos, and marketing collateral
• Create and adapt multiple logo variations based on provided brand assets and requirements
• Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints while meeting tight timelines
