Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst with strong functional expertise in both Workday HCM and PeopleSoft HCM to support end-to-end testing, data validation, and integration analysis. This role is responsible for verifying core HR transactions in Workday—such as hires, job and pay changes, personal information updates, and terminations—and ensuring accurate and timely posting of these transactions into PeopleSoft.
A key focus of this position is leading PeopleSoft security remediation, including assessing current access levels, reducing unnecessary edit/correction access, and ensuring only approved users retain elevated privileges. The analyst will maintain existing row-level security, document all configuration changes through playbooks and design summaries, and perform thorough security testing to confirm the updated access model functions as intended at go-live.
Key Responsibilities:
Workday HCM Transaction Testing
• Execute and validate transactions in Workday including new hires, job and pay changes, personal information updates, other data changes, and terminations.
• Document test results, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions.

Integration Monitoring & Analysis
• Review and analyze integration outputs from Workday to PeopleSoft HCM.
• Validate correct data mapping and ensure all HR transactions are transmitted properly.
• Identify integration or data alignment issues and support root cause troubleshooting.
PeopleSoft HCM Validation
• Validate that inbound transactions correctly populate PeopleSoft HR tables.
• Support data reconciliation or clean up efforts as needed.
• Provide insight into PeopleSoft configuration dependencies impacting integrations.
PeopleSoft Security Management
• Assess current PeopleSoft security to identify and remove edit/correction access to sensitive Job, Personal Data, Recruiting, and Compensation tables.
• Remove view and/or edit access for ESS & MSS functionality moving out of PeopleSoft and into Workday.
• Limit elevated access to a small, designated group, ensuring all other users are shifted to read only based on reporting structure.
• Keep existing row level security intact, while reducing modification capabilities for PX admin users.
• Create a detailed security playbook outlining steps and documentation for reducing access without affecting approved exceptions.
• Provide a security design summary including updated or newly created roles and permission lists for migration and audit purposes.
• Test both restricted and elevated-access users to validate the security design ahead of go live.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 3+ years of HRIS experience with focus on both Workday HCM and PeopleSoft HCM.
• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM security architecture, including roles, permission lists, row-level security, and component/page access.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building, supporting, or troubleshooting Workday to PeopleSoft integrations.
• Familiarity with Workday Core Connectors, Studio or integration technologies.
• Experience with HR data auditing or reconciliation.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM tables, batch processes, and HR data dependencies.
• Ability to troubleshoot both functional and technical integration issues.
