Position Overview/Duties

Serves as the Enterprise Information Technology Services Contract expert and as the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) of consolidated information technology contracted services, ensuring contracted services are in compliance with regulations, policy/procedures, and mission requirements. Reports directly to the Chief, Acquisition Contract and Management Office within the Business Management Directorate for OCIO/G-6. Utilizing technical expertise in assigned functional areas, and in coordination with Service Owners and Service Area Owners, is responsible for evaluating contractor performance under multiple contracts. Develops and recommends contractual rewrites and solicitations. The work of this position involves coordinating and integrating technical aspects of enterprise computer operations with administrative matters in support of Information Technology services in support of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) mission requirements USACE-wide.

Other Conditions And Requirements

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD, Section 9905 to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

  • Relocation (PCS) expenses may be authorized (subject to available budget) if the selecting official determines the relocation is in the best interests of the government.
  • This position must be in compliance with the Return to In-Person Work (RTIPW) requirement to work in an approved USACE applicable facility.
  • Travel is required up to 25% of the time.
  • Call back and emergency duty are regular requirements of this position.
  • May be required to carry a Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) cellular device.
