Client is seeking a senior, advisor-level Network Security & Load Balancing Architect to augment their internal team. This resource will operate as a trusted technical leader, capable of making architectural decisions, providing clear recommendations, and driving conversations with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
This role is intentionally not tactical-only. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on expertise and strong consultative instincts. Looking for someone comfortable saying “Based on what I’m seeing, here’s my recommendation and why.”

- Serve as a senior technical advisor across load balancing, routing, and network security domains
- Provide architectural leadership and decision-making authority for complex network initiatives
- Own and drive conversations around design, trade-offs, risk, and recommendations
- Act as an escalation point for advanced F5 and network security challenges
- Partner with internal stakeholders to build trust, credibility, and confidence at the leadership level
- Assess current-state environments and propose future-state architectures
- Ensure network designs align with enterprise security standards and cloud best practices
Core Technical Skill Requirements:
- F5 Load Balancing (expert-level)
- LTM, advanced traffic management, troubleshooting, and architecture
- Network Security & Firewalling
- Strong Palo Alto experience (design, policy, segmentation, security posture)
- Routing & Switching (advanced)
- Deep understanding of enterprise routing and traffic flows
- Cloud Networking Experience
- Strong AWS experience required
- Working knowledge of Azure and GCP networking models
- End-to-End Network Security Stack Knowledge
- Ability to connect load balancing, routing, firewalling, and cloud security into a cohesive design
