Job Title: Data Testing Lead

Location: Chicago, IL (100% Remote – Local Candidates Preferred)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Testing / ETL Testing / Data QA.

• Strong expertise in data validation, data transformation testing, and reconciliation techniques.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, MuleSoft, or similar integration/data platforms.

• Proficiency in SQL and building complex queries for cross-system data validation.

• Experience handling multiple file formats including JSON, XML, CSV, and flat files.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, and data flows.

• Experience in batch job performance testing and workload modeling.

• Knowledge of incremental vs. full data load validations.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Databus, message queues, or streaming data platforms.

• Exposure to cloud data ecosystems and distributed data architectures.

• Prior experience in a lead or senior tester role.

• Familiarity with automation tools or scripting languages for data validation.

• Local candidates to Chicago, IL preferred though the role is fully remote.
