We are looking for a Social Media Specialist – to join our team in Bulgaria. This is a remote role, which is requires availability during US business hours.

You will be responsible for monitoring social media sites, engaging directly with consumers on social media sites (Social Customer Care) and reporting and providing insights in support of the Social InteraXions solution for their respective program.


Key Responsibilities:

🔍 Social Media Monitoring

  • Monitor social media channels in near real time for brands, competitors, industry topics, and emerging issues
  • Maintain and optimize queries, keywords, and tags within social media monitoring tools
  • Identify and escalate sensitive or critical posts according to defined procedures
  • Identify engagement opportunities and emerging trends
  • Tag and classify social media content to support reporting and insights

💬 Social Media Engagement

  • Respond to customer questions, feedback, and complaints across social platforms (e.g. Facebook, X/Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Follow client‑specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Rules of Engagement
  • Contribute to improving customer experience and brand perception
  • Follow approval workflows before publishing responses when required

📊 Reporting & Insights

  • Analyze social media conversations and extract actionable insights aligned with client and brand objectives
  • Prepare monthly or bi‑weekly social media reports
  • Apply relevant social media metrics and qualitative commentary
  • Clearly present insights to internal stakeholders and client partners
  • Stay informed about social media trends and industry developments

📢 Additional Activities

  • Moderate social media pages and accounts on behalf of clients
  • Publish pre‑approved content
  • Support report reviews and insight discussions with internal or external partners (when applicable)
  • Assist with other program‑related tasks (email/phone) as assigned


Requirements:

🎓 Education

  • Minimum: High school diploma
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

🧠 Experience

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience
  • Active personal use of social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter)
  • Blogging or content creation experience is a plus
  • Previous Social Customer Care or Marketing experience is an advantage

🌍 Language Skills

  • English: Advanced / C1 (spoken and written)

💻 Technical Skills

  • MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into business relevance
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite
  • Familiarity with third‑party social media or digital marketing tools is a plus
