The Role

• Lead operations and development for high-availability AWS services (EC2, S3, Dynamo, Lambda, Bedrock).

• Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.

• Collaborate with global AWS teams to enhance day-to-day operations.

• Drive improvements in availability, reliability, latency, and efficiency of ESC.

• Participate in on-call rotations to resolve out-of-hours incidents.

• Contribute to the collective knowledge of the team through education and mentorship.

What You'll Need

• Expertise in systems engineering (hardware, software, networking, operating systems).

• Experience scripting processes in Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Solid understanding of Linux and networking, with strong troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to lead the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures.

• Must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU.

• Fluency in written and spoken English.
