Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Azure/M365)

Our client is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work fully remote on an initial 6 month freelance/contract. Candidates would need to be located in Central Europe.

Description:

• Your mission will be to work on first-class customer Azure/M365 infrastructure and federate design for our managed app services for overall consumption and license optimization
• You´ll design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable software or infrastructure provisioning in Java, Python, Terraform and/or similar technologies.
• You ensure solutions provide the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness, additionally you identify and recommend solutions for bottlenecks and bugs.

• Works with end users, product, technical and other stakeholders to translate story and use cases into functional products.
• Works with cross-functional technical colleagues to define best practices and coding standards and enhance existing process.
• Performs Docker-based deployment on Kubernetes Clusters.
• Writes and deploys basic build pipelines for Infrastructure and cloud resources

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• At least 3+ years of experience in cloud & devops projects and ideally an education in software engineering or a similar IT discipline
• Work experience with Java, Python, Terraform and/or similar technologies.
• You leverages CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications and infrastructure as code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of cloud (preferably Azure) and devops (Kubernetes and/or Docker)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, fast-paced, high-impact environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
