We are seeking a standout Staff Full-Stack Engineer to help create and scale the WorkOS platform from the ground up. This role sits at the intersection of distributed systems, AI orchestration, and modern product engineering, focused on building software where people and autonomous AI agents operate together at true enterprise scale.
This is not just about writing code — it’s about shaping the agent-driven workflows that will define how work is done across the Middle East and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Build and scale the core WorkOS platform, spanning backend services and modern frontend architecture.
- Design systems that orchestrate AI agents, real-time data, and complex workflows.
- Work closely with Product, Design, and early customers to create intuitive human-AI experiences (dynamic, generative, and canvas-based UIs).
- Own features end-to-end — from rapid prototyping to production-grade, enterprise-ready systems.
- Use AI-accelerated development to move fast without compromising quality.
- Lead early, high-impact deployments with strategic partners to validate the platform in real operational environments.
- Operate with high autonomy in a lean, founder-led environment, balancing long-term architecture with fast execution

What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience, ideally as a staff engineer, technical lead, or founding engineer.
- Strong expertise in React & TypeScript, plus backend experience in Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, real-time systems, or RAG architectures.
- Ability to design platform-first systems — APIs, services, data models, and reusable UI components.
- High standards for performance, reliability, and developer craft.
- Experience with enterprise software or legacy system modernisation is a strong plus.
- Experience working in client-facing roles (Forward-Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Integration Engineer, etc ) is also highly desirable.
